Lachlan McKay

Hi my name is Lachlan McKay  Co Founder of Latp Media 

Throughout my entire life I have been exposed to Motorsport, when I was pretty young I would be going to race events with my Grandad (Gary McKelvie) and doing that it sparked my love for Motorsport, I used to film his races, wasn't the best editing or Camera but we got there in the end, later on when I was about 10 or 11 I got my first Go Kart it was old but I loved it to bits even got it to look like my Grandads Monaro It was a gem next was my brother he then got a go kart and we went to Kartsport Manawatu and did some practice days, were at one of them I was informed my go kart was too old to compete, and after that Pa (was a nickname for) got me a 125 Rotax jr and this was way quicker than my previous one. Sadly Pa passed away in 2022 and we haven't gone karting since, after his passing my step dad (Daniel Gordon) started racing the Monaro and Taylor and I started filming these races and it pretty much kicked off the idea to start posting on social media, we started with photos and then moved to videos and its all been up since then Taylor and I have been all over the north island filming some races and we have been able to work with some really cool race classes such as GTRNZ Super Trucks and TCM and it has been a pleasure to work for them .
